Area Sales Manager – FMCG

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Area Sales Manager to lead our FMCG sales activities in the Podgorica region. You will be responsible for driving growth, managing a sales team, and ensuring the commercial strategy is executed consistently across all channels.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, organise and monitor sales activities within the assigned territory and relevant channels.
• Set targets, track team performance and define actions to improve results.
• Implement the commercial strategy, sales initiatives and company standards on the ground.
• Analyse sales data, market trends and identify business development opportunities.
• Collaborate with internal teams to deliver promotional and commercial programmes.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers and partners.
• Identify process improvements to boost efficiency and sales growth.
• Ensure compliance with procedures, quality and safety standards.
• Lead, coach and support the sales team to achieve business and development goals.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of experience managing sales processes and results in FMCG or retail.
• Previous roles such as Sales Manager, Area Sales Manager, Key Account Manager, Portfolio Manager or Business Unit Manager.
• Proven track record of managing KPIs and sales performance.
• Experience with one or more sales channels (Traditional Trade, Key Accounts, HoReCa).
• Secondary education required; university degree is a plus.
• Active knowledge of English.
• Advanced MS Office skills.
• Valid B‑category driver’s licence.
