Reservations Agent

About the role

As a Reservations Agent, you will help maximize hotel revenue and deliver exceptional guest service by managing reservations efficiently and professionally. You will be the main point of contact for accommodation inquiries, guiding guests from their first request until their arrival.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, process and manage reservations by phone, email, online booking systems and OTA channels such as Booking.com and Expedia.
• Enter, update, verify and maintain reservation records accurately in the Property Management System (PMS).
• Inform guests about rooms, rates, availability, packages and additional hotel services.
• Keep the Front Office, Sales, Revenue, Housekeeping and other departments informed about guest requests and special arrangements.
• Handle changes, cancellations and special inquiries professionally.
• Monitor occupancy and support sales through upselling and inventory management.
• Coordinate group bookings and build relationships with travel agencies, tour operators and business partners.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly reservation reports and performance summaries.
• Follow hotel standards, policies, procedures and brand requirements, and stay professional and courteous with guests.

Required profile

• High school diploma or university degree (Tourism, Hospitality Management, Business Administration or Languages preferred).
• Excellent command of English; other languages are an advantage.
• Previous hospitality experience is desirable.
• Strong communication, organization and accuracy, able to handle several priorities in a fast pace.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and hotel reservation systems (PMS)
• Guest-service orientation and commercial awareness
