Team Leader – Housekeeping

About the role

The Team Leader, Housekeeping ensures that all guest rooms, suites, private homes and public areas meet SIRO’s high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and presentation. You will lead a team of attendants, coordinate daily operations and guarantee a seamless arrival experience for guests.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and enforce housekeeping standards across rooms, suites and public areas, conducting daily inspections and reporting any defects.
• Conduct 5‑minute pre‑shift briefings, prepare work schedules, monitor occupancy levels and adjust staffing accordingly.
• Train new attendants and provide ongoing coaching to meet LQA and brand standards.
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, linens and amenities, ensuring stock levels and proper use of equipment.
• Respond promptly to guest requests or complaints, ensuring swift resolution and high satisfaction.

Required profile

• Diploma or certification in Hospitality Management or equivalent experience.
• Fluent in spoken and written English; additional languages are a plus.
• Minimum 2 years experience as a Housekeeping Team Leader in a five‑star hotel or comparable establishment.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, coach and evaluate housekeeping staff.

Required skills

• Proficient use of hotel management software for room status tracking and task assignment.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, safety protocols and proper equipment handling.
• Inventory management of linens, supplies and amenities.
