About the role

UNIQA is seeking a Legal Specialist to join the General Secretariat and Legal Affairs department in Podgorica. You will provide comprehensive legal support across the company, ensuring compliance with regulations and safeguarding corporate interests.

Key responsibilities

• Provide legal advice to all company bodies and support the manager in regulatory procedures.
• Draft, review, and manage contracts with third parties, maintaining an up‑to‑date contract archive.
• Align internal processes with statutory requirements and monitor product‑development legal aspects.
• Participate in the preparation of insurance terms, pre‑contractual information, and tender documentation.
• Organise board and committee meetings, preparing drafts, minutes, and decision books.
• Analyse relevant legislation, propose legal measures, and contribute to policy, procedure, and standard development.
• Support premium collection processes and take part in projects aimed at business improvement.

Required profile

• Law degree (VSS, smjer pravo) with at least three years of experience in similar legal roles.
• Proficiency in computer use and active knowledge of English.
