Corporate Lawyer (Remote, Contract)

About the role

You will act as the trusted legal advisor for The Code Republic’s operations in Montenegro, ensuring compliance and sound legal structure. The role involves daily legal matters and strategic decision support, working remotely on a contract basis. You will collaborate closely with the management team on both day‑to‑day issues and long‑term strategic initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Advise on company law, corporate governance, and regulatory compliance.
• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts and agreements.
• Support employment and labor law matters.
• Provide guidance on intellectual property, data protection, and tax‑related matters.
• Represent the company before relevant authorities and institutions when required.
• Monitor legal developments and advise on potential risks.

Required profile

• Law degree and active license to practice in Montenegro.
• Strong knowledge of Montenegrin legislation.
• Professional‑level English (written and spoken).
• Strong communication skills and a practical, solution‑oriented approach.
