Solution Architect – Banking Applications

About the role

CKB Bank is looking for a Banking Applications Solution Architect to design secure, scalable, and sustainable solutions that support its core banking, data warehouse, digital channels and external services. You will work closely with business and IT stakeholders, guiding projects from requirements through to deployment.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to translate requirements into solution designs.
• Define end‑to‑end architectures across application, data, infrastructure and integration layers.
• Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture principles, IT strategy and regulatory requirements.
• Evaluate and select technologies, platforms and tools while maintaining cost‑effectiveness.
• Provide architectural leadership throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Define integration patterns and ensure seamless data exchange between core banking, DWH, digital channels and external services.
• Prepare high‑level and detailed design documentation, including diagrams and interface specifications.
• Conduct design and code reviews to enforce architectural standards.
• Work with infrastructure, DevOps and security teams to deliver robust, reliable solutions.
• Support vendor, cloud and fintech partner evaluations with architectural assessments.

Required profile

• University degree in a technical field or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a solution architecture or similar role.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Fluent in English.

• Azure (preferred), AWS, GCP cloud environments.
• Microservices, APIs, SOA, ESB, message queues, event‑driven architectures.
• Docker, Kubernetes.
• Security principles, IAM, encryption, ISO 27001, GDPR, PCI DSS.
• DevOps, CI/CD, Infrastructure‑as‑Code.
• Oracle, MS SQL, MongoDB, Cassandra, Redis.
• Enterprise middleware, BPM, workflow automation.
• UML, BPMN, ArchiMate.
