C Developer Intern – Remote

About the role

We are looking for a motivated C Developer Intern to join TuxCare’s Endless Lifecycle Support team. The internship is fully remote and offers hands‑on experience developing C‑based security solutions for Linux distributions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain C code for real‑world security products.
• Collaborate with senior engineers, participate in code reviews and follow best practices.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code and unit tests.
• Gain exposure to backend development and system programming on GNU/Linux.

Required profile

• Basic C programming and debugging skills.
• Experience with Git for version control.
• Familiarity with GNU/Linux command line and shell scripting.
• Understanding of Linux kernel building and troubleshooting.
• English proficiency at B1 level or higher.
• Final‑year student or recent graduate eager to learn.
