Google Ads Media Buyer / Growth Strategist (Remote)

About the role

Sweat Pants Agency works with around 50 DTC and eCommerce brands, spending millions each month on Meta and Google, and is looking for a remote Google Ads media buyer and growth strategist. You will own a set of DTC accounts end to end, from account manager to client-facing point of contact, with budgets from $5k to well over six figures per month. The role is open worldwide, with the only hard requirement being availability for client calls during US Eastern business hours.

Key responsibilities

• Audit every account before touching it: campaign and ad group structure, keywords versus search terms, negatives, bidding strategy, impression share, feed health, landing pages, audiences and conversion tracking, then walk the client through findings.
• Own the full funnel: feed and Merchant Center, search, Shopping and PMax, Demand Gen and YouTube, landing pages and conversion tracking.
• Treat brand and non-brand traffic as separate businesses, report them separately, and optimize to NC-CPA and NC-ROAS rather than blended metrics.
• Keep automation in check by auditing auto-applied recommendations, assets and sitelinks on a schedule.
• Diagnose and fix bottlenecks such as creative, offer, AOV, landing page, checkout or tracking, and build landing pages, scripts and reports yourself.
• Own the client relationship, present results and plans, and defend the account in front of clients.

Required profile

• Hands-on Google Ads experience at meaningful spend on DTC and eCommerce, with results you can explain (CPA, ROAS, revenue); Shopping and PMax specifically.
• Fluent English at native or near-native level, since you will talk to clients constantly.
• Comfortable working US Eastern business hours for calls; location is flexible.
• Bonus: having built or run your own Shopify store, or having run Meta at similar spend.
