Seasonal Kitchen Cleaner – Luxury Hotel

About the role

Apt Resources is recruiting on behalf of a luxury hotel in Montenegro for a seasonal Kitchen Cleaner. The role supports a busy hospitality operation and keeps the kitchen clean, hygienic and organised so the wider culinary team can work safely and efficiently. It is a full-time seasonal position expected to run from March 2027 until the end of October 2027.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and sanitise kitchen floors, walls, countertops and work surfaces.
• Maintain food preparation areas, storage rooms and kitchen facilities.
• Clean kitchen equipment, sinks, drains and other designated areas.
• Collect and dispose of kitchen waste according to waste management procedures.
• Keep cleaning materials and equipment properly maintained and stored.
• Assist kitchen staff with general cleaning and sanitation when required.
• Follow hotel safety procedures and cleaning protocols, and keep the kitchen free from hazards.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Kitchen Cleaner, Kitchen Steward, General Cleaner or in a similar role is an advantage; hotel, restaurant or commercial kitchen experience is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of kitchen hygiene, cleaning procedures and sanitation standards.
• Physically fit, able to stand for long periods and perform manual cleaning tasks.
• Hardworking, reliable, detail-oriented, able to work independently and in a team, and willing to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays.
• Willingness to relocate to Montenegro and commit to the full seasonal contract.

Required skills

• Ability to handle cleaning chemicals and equipment safely.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

What we offer

• Net salary of EUR 600 per month.
• Approximately EUR 300-400 in seasonal service charge.
• Three meals daily and free accommodation.
