Handyman / Electrician – Luxury Hotel, Montenegro

About the role

A luxury hotel in Montenegro is looking for a skilled and reliable Handyman / Electrician to support its property maintenance. The person will keep electrical installations, lighting systems, equipment and other hotel facilities safe, functional and in excellent condition, responding quickly to maintenance issues while meeting the high standards of a luxury hospitality setting.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and basic repairs of electrical installations, lighting, switches, sockets and hotel equipment.
• Troubleshoot and fix minor electrical faults and technical issues safely and efficiently.
• Inspect guest rooms, public areas, back-of-house facilities and other premises regularly.
• Carry out preventive maintenance so facilities stay in good working order.
• Handle general handyman tasks such as minor plumbing repairs, furniture fixes and painting touch-ups.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and report issues needing specialist help.
• Coordinate with external technicians and service providers when needed.
• Keep work areas clean and organised and minimise disruption to guests.
• Follow hotel procedures, workplace safety rules and electrical safety standards.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Handyman, Electrician, Maintenance Technician or in a similar role.
• Good practical knowledge of electrical installations, lighting systems and basic electrical repairs.
• Ability to troubleshoot minor technical issues and work independently and in a team.
• Willingness to relocate to Montenegro.
• Minimum B2 English and professional attitude suited to a luxury hotel.

• Monthly salary of EUR 900-1,000
