Cluster Director, Revenue Management

About the role

Kerzner is looking for a Cluster Director, Revenue Management, who will oversee two properties in Montenegro and report to the Cluster General Manager. The role turns the long-term Total Revenue plan into results that affect Rooms, Food and Beverage, Spa, Retail and other revenue centers, supervising the Revenue department, internal and external communication, team support and motivation, and ensuring financial targets are met. It works in a matrix management environment.

Key responsibilities

• Direct the Revenue Management team to maximize total hotel revenue and RevPAR / RevPAS / RevPASH, aiming to become the RGI market leader
• Develop the distribution platform, ensure CRS, GDS, PMS, RMS and e-channel technology is used optimally, and measure performance on each channel
• Monitor competitors' availability and pricing daily, analyze booking patterns and market trends, and propose pricing and tactical offers by segment
• Prepare weekly 3-month and monthly 12-month room revenue forecasts, monthly revenue reporting, and the weekly Revenue / Sales & Marketing strategy meeting
• Assist the Sales & Marketing team with campaigns, help with recruitment and training, and set monthly up-selling targets for Front Office and Reservations
• Conduct annual revenue management audits, drive revenue projects, and ensure daily, weekly and monthly reporting to the regional and corporate offices
• Build strong relationships with competitors, industry partners and the business community

Required profile

• 5 years of experience in a similar position in 5-star hospitality
• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or another financial major

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Office Suite and STR Portal
• Advanced Opera PMS (pricing, restrictions, reporting) and Infor Vision
• Understanding of bi-tools and advanced use of a major revenue management software (Duetto, Ideas or similar)
• Advanced rate shopping tools (Rate Tiger, Rategain or similar) and advanced CRS and channel management systems
