Senior Data Governance Lead

About the role

CKB Bank, a member of the OTP Group, is looking for a Senior Data Governance Lead to strengthen its data governance framework. You will work closely with business and IT teams to ensure data quality, support regulatory reporting, and enable data‑driven decision making.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and continuously improve the bank’s Data Governance Framework.
• Establish, coordinate and maintain data quality controls, monitoring processes and remediation actions.
• Define data ownership, stewardship and accountability models across the organization.
• Identify critical data elements and improve their quality in key business processes.
• Support regulatory, risk and management reporting by enhancing data consistency.
• Contribute to data dictionaries, business glossaries and data standards.
• Promote a strong data culture and awareness throughout the bank.

Required profile

• University degree (VII level) – law or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in data governance, data quality, BI, analytics or related areas.
• Proven experience improving data quality and implementing governance processes in medium‑to‑large organisations.
• Strong understanding of business processes, information systems and ability to define data standards.
• Professional working proficiency in English.
