Payroll Specialist

About the role

Native Teams is seeking a Payroll Specialist to manage end‑to‑end payroll processes for multiple clients, starting with Montenegro. This remote position offers the chance to work in a fast‑growing fintech startup, collaborating with international teams and supporting compliance across borders.

Key responsibilities

• Execute full payroll cycles for assigned clients, ensuring accurate data flow between clients and payroll partners.
• Prepare, reconcile, and maintain detailed payroll reports and records.
• Collect, verify, and enter payroll data, identifying and correcting inaccuracies.
• Monitor tax and payment regulations in Montenegro and other assigned jurisdictions, working with local accountants to meet legal requirements.
• Provide timely client support, answering payroll queries and meeting agreed timelines.
• Collaborate with Customer Experience, Accounting, Operations, and other teams to resolve discrepancies and improve processes.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of payroll experience, preferably with global exposure.
• Strong knowledge of payroll best practices and relevant financial concepts.
• Excellent written and spoken English, analytical mindset, and attention to detail.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, international remote environment.
