C Developer Intern – Remote (Worldwide)

About the role

CloudLinux is looking for motivated C Developer Interns to join its Endless Lifecycle Support team. This remote internship offers hands‑on experience in C development, back‑porting security patches, and contributing to long‑term stability of Linux distributions.

Key responsibilities

• Work on real‑world projects and contribute to CloudLinux products.
• Collaborate with experienced engineers, participate in code reviews, and follow best coding practices.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable C code.
• Develop unit tests and ensure software quality.
• Gain exposure to backend development, system programming, and Linux kernel troubleshooting.

Required profile

• Basic C programming and debugging skills.
• Experience with Git for branch and patch management.
• Familiarity with GNU/Linux command‑line environment and shell scripting.
• Introductory experience building the Linux kernel and troubleshooting related issues.
• English proficiency at B1 level or higher.
• Self‑starter, final‑year student or entry‑level engineer with strong fundamentals in algorithms and data structures.
• Comfortable using AI coding assistants and aware of the AI‑assisted development landscape.
