Cluster Director, Human Resources

About the role

Kerzner is looking for a Cluster Director, Human Resources to oversee two properties in Montenegro. The role reports to the General Manager and drives the hotel's people strategy across employee relations, compensation and benefits, performance management, training, recruitment, housing, wellness and colleague engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Produce and maintain the hotel People Plan, aligned with property goals and business objectives
• Implement a sustainable staffing strategy for seasonality, reviewing manning levels and recruitment approaches
• Develop an annual HR strategy for the property aligned with brand standards and business requirements
• Act as a strategic business partner to operations, delivering HR services smoothly
• Ensure disciplinary processes are fair and fully compliant with Kerzner International policies
• Manage the HR workflow including onboarding, offboarding, filing and payroll, and advise on HR SOPs, policies, local labour law and staffing matters
• Partner with Heads of Department and the Executive Committee to meet KPIs such as GOP, LTO and Colleague Engagement Survey results
• Provide training for HODs and supervisors on performance management, keep Talent Reviews active and follow up on development plans
• Maintain colleague communication channels, run regular meetings and engagement activities
• Prepare the annual HR budget covering training, recruitment, housing and general expenses

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field; HR certification preferred
• 8 years of progressive HR experience in luxury hospitality
• Prior experience as a standalone HR Manager or Director in a large 5-star resort is essential
• Robust knowledge of local labour law and employment regulations
• Strong employee relations expertise, proven track record as a strategic business partner, and excellent leadership, communication and analytical skills
