Lead ABAP Developer with MDG knowledge

About the role

We are seeking a seasoned Lead ABAP Developer with strong SAP MDG and MDM expertise to join our dynamic, fully remote‑first team. You will work closely with technical architects and business stakeholders to design and deliver innovative data‑modeling, data‑cleansing, and data‑quality solutions for our customers.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and implement SAP MDM/MDG solutions tailored to project requirements.
• Collaborate with technical architects and business stakeholders to define detailed specifications.
• Lead code‑review sessions and mentor junior developers.
• Apply data‑modeling, data‑quality management and data‑governance tools to ensure project success.
• Monitor project progress, track milestones and report status to stakeholders and management.

Required profile

• Proven experience with ABAP in S/4HANA environments.
• Strong knowledge of SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) with successful implementations.
• Hands‑on experience configuring SAP MDM and MDG, especially for vendor management.
• Excellent communication skills and a creative problem‑solving mindset.
• English proficiency at B1 level or higher.
• Nice to have: exposure to agile delivery methodologies.
