Assistant Human Resources Manager

About the role

The Assistant Human Resources Manager will support the HR function at Aman Sveti Stefan, a world‑renowned luxury resort set on a historic island and villa in Montenegro. Reporting to the HR Director and working alongside a dedicated HR team, you will help shape a positive workplace culture, ensure compliance with local labour laws, and deliver seamless HR services in a fast‑paced, multicultural hospitality environment.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily HR operations, including payroll, benefits administration, and employee record management, while maintaining strict compliance with Montenegrin regulations.
• Partner with property leadership to design and implement employee engagement initiatives that enhance morale and retention.
• Assist in the full recruitment lifecycle: drafting job ads, screening candidates, coordinating interviews, and facilitating onboarding for new hires.
• Support performance management processes, including goal setting, reviews, and development planning.
• Handle employee relations matters, providing guidance and mediation to resolve conflicts promptly and fairly.
• Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of HR policies, procedures, and training programs.
• Maintain an approachable, flexible, and efficient HR presence, especially during peak periods and high‑pressure situations.
