Kitchen Assistant for Pizzeria in Montenegro

About the role

Apt Resources is seeking a motivated Kitchen Assistant to join a professional pizzeria team in Montenegro. The position focuses on maintaining high hygiene standards while supporting basic food preparation and daily kitchen operations.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene throughout the kitchen and work areas.
• Wash, clean, and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and surfaces.
• Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as washing, peeling, cutting, and preparing ingredients.
• Support the kitchen team during food preparation and service.
• Organise ingredients, utensils, and equipment for easy access.
• Help receive, store, and organise food supplies when required.
• Dispose of waste properly and uphold a safe working environment.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and health‑and‑safety standards.
• Perform other general kitchen duties as assigned by the Chef or Kitchen Supervisor.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a kitchen, restaurant, hotel, or similar environment is preferred but not mandatory.
• Basic understanding of kitchen hygiene and cleanliness.
• Willingness to learn basic food preparation techniques.
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
• Hardworking, reliable, and responsible attitude.
• Good physical stamina for a fast‑paced environment.
• Willingness to work shifts, including evenings.
• Positive attitude and professional approach.
