HR Manager

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic, hands‑on HR Manager to lead day‑to‑day HR operations for our rapidly growing retail network. The role combines deep knowledge of employment legislation, payroll and HR administration with a proactive approach to recruitment and employee relations.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with employment legislation and keep HR policies, processes and documentation up to date.
• Oversee HR administration, employee records, contracts, absences and payroll in collaboration with relevant teams.
• Manage recruitment across the retail network, guaranteeing timely hiring and appropriate staffing levels.
• Build strong relationships with employees and managers, regularly visiting retail locations to resolve people‑related challenges.
• Drive consistent implementation of HR policies while identifying opportunities to streamline operations.
• Support onboarding, training and development initiatives and advise managers on people‑related matters.
• Monitor HR metrics such as headcount, turnover, absenteeism and overtime, providing insights for business decisions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Law or a related field.
• 3+ years of HR experience, preferably in an operational role with administration and payroll responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of employment legislation and proven ability to apply it to HR processes.
• Hands‑on experience with payroll processes and HR administration.
• Demonstrated recruitment experience in a high‑volume environment.
• Experience in retail or multi‑location/field‑based settings is a strong advantage.
