Groups and Events Sales Manager

About the role

The Groups and Events Sales Manager will lead the acquisition and management of high‑net‑worth, corporate, group and event business for Aman Sveti Stefan, one of Montenegro’s most iconic luxury destinations. This senior position combines strategic prospecting, relationship building and end‑to‑end event sales execution to drive revenue growth.

Key responsibilities

• Create and implement strategic prospecting and sales action plans.
• Secure new high‑net‑worth, corporate, group and event accounts.
• Develop and maintain relationships with corporate clients, event planners, travel agencies and tour operators.
• Plan and conduct site inspections, familiarisation trips and sales visits.
• Manage the full sales cycle for meetings, conferences, weddings and special events from enquiry to contract signing.
• Prepare tailored proposals, quotations and contracts while maximising revenue.
• Track account productivity, produce weekly/monthly sales reports and forecasts.
• Collaborate with Operations, Reservations, Food & Beverage and Events teams to ensure seamless execution.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in groups & events sales within a luxury hospitality environment.
• Proven record of exceeding sales targets for group bookings, meetings, conferences, weddings and special events.
• Fluency in Montenegrin and English; additional languages are a plus.
• Strong commercial acumen with experience in contract negotiation and revenue maximisation.
• Excellent presentation, communication and networking skills with high cultural awareness.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross‑functional collaboration and manage multiple priorities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM systems.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience using hotel sales and catering platforms.
