ESG Specialist

About the role

The Chedi Luštica Bay is seeking an on‑site ESG Specialist to lead its sustainability agenda. Reporting to the Director of Housekeeping & Sustainability, you will develop and implement ESG frameworks that align the property with global standards and enhance its environmental, social, and governance performance.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and monitor ESG strategies across the hotel.
• Assess environmental impact, ensure compliance with ESG regulations and certifications such as Earth Check, Zero Waste, and Green Key.
• Lead ESG metrics reporting, risk management and stakeholder engagement.
• Develop and enforce sustainable policies, track initiatives and communicate green actions to all teams.
• Supervise daily operations to guarantee adherence to sustainability standards and support inspection programmes.
• Monitor budgetary aspects of sustainability projects and report performance to department heads.

Required profile

• Proven experience in ESG, sustainability or related fields within hospitality or similar sectors.
• Strong understanding of environmental regulations, reporting standards and certification processes.
• Ability to lead cross‑functional teams, train staff and drive cultural change toward sustainability.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
