Elevator Field Service Specialist (Technical Role)

About the role

Join KONE as an Elevator Field Service Specialist in Podgorica, Montenegro. This field‑based position involves testing and commissioning elevators to ensure they meet safety, quality and performance standards before handover.

Key responsibilities

• Test and commission elevators on‑site, ensuring compliance with safety, technical and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct electrical safety checks and mechanical tests according to EN81, Lift Directive and local standards.
• Record and report measurements, highlight issues and provide corrective actions.
• Perform final inspections, create snagging lists and support quality closure.
• Collaborate with installation teams, project managers and other stakeholders to deliver high‑quality outcomes.

Required profile

• Hands‑on, practical mindset with strong technical skills and a safety‑first approach.
• Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating with on‑site teams.
• Good command of English, both spoken and written.
• Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel up to 70‑80% within Montenegro.
• Previous experience in elevator testing, commissioning, installation or maintenance is preferred.
