Economics Teacher for Senior School (IB Diploma Programme)

About the role

We are seeking an Economics Teacher for our Senior School IB Diploma programme. The position starts immediately on a part‑time basis (approximately 12 teaching hours per week) with the possibility of transitioning to full‑time from January or September 2027.

Key responsibilities

• Teach IB Diploma Economics (Standard and Higher Level), including lesson planning, marking, assessment documentation and attendance tracking.
• Supervise and assess student research assignments in line with IB DP guidelines.
• Prepare and submit required documentation for internal and external assessments.
• Participate in collaborative planning and reflection meetings roughly once a month.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Economics.
• Experience teaching Economics at secondary level, preferably within IB or IGCSE programmes.
• Native‑level English proficiency or C1 level and above.
• Willingness to complete an IB professional development workshop to become a certified IB DP teacher.
